There is a lovely garden to the rear of the centre, which is accessible from the hall, or via a side door.

There is a paved area, leading onto lawn and a wild garden.  There is a seat at the end of the garden, and the whole garden backs onto Epping Forest; sit there and allow yourself to escape the hustle and bustle of Walthamstow and London.
